hey i have a 56 g tank and i wanna make my old 30g tank a sump can anyone help me or tell me were i can get diagrams to help me out and tell me wat i need
I don't have any diagrams, but here is a couple of pictures of my 30g sump ( I have more pictures if needed ). The first section (right) is the inflow/skimmer section (ASM 1GX), than the baffles (over, under, over).
A fuge section, one baffle with slots. The last section is the return section, I did not drill the tank, and I use an external pump.
Actually I used acrylic, but same thing. Yes, you would need it to be dry, and unless you already have it in the spot you want it, you would have to remove the water to move it.
Ahh, okay. I am sure there is a way to do it with water in it, how I don't know. However, I think it would be a heck of alot easier dry.
If the water is saltwater, just use it for a water change in the main tank.
how did it get there? have you cleaned the tank with acid? copper will stay in the glass, silicon, LS, and LR. it may keep you from having any inverts. check with the chemistry forum here Randy can point you in the right direction on copper.
well i didnt put the water in my 56 and i wash it out and scrapped the glass off that should help alot
im gonig to waight for about two or three months before i put my frog spawn and green tip torche and etc. in the tank
