this is why we don't need a forum on our WTMRAC site who wants to ban anyone and who says what is right and what is wrong?
 
I think he may have been banned on any site for his violation. It is no big deal - he was using curse words in his posts. They warned him to stop - he did not - he is no longer allowed to post on RC.

I do believe the ban is permanent.
 
They will ban you for all sorts of stupid crap. I got banned one time for asking why the zeovit stuff removes all nutrients (including potassium) from your water and then you are supposed to add potassium back to your water. Obviously I was making a joke, but apparantly that is a touchy subject for somebody...who knows..............
 
I think what we forget is that we are guests on this board. We do not have an inherent right to be here...it is a privilege and we must play by their rules while we are here.

Fair enough, exactly what rule was broken by me asking that question? Just out of curiousity.
 
I don't know - maybe you should ask a moderator. They are the ones who interpret the rules of RC...not me.

Plus - I see that you are still posting so you must not have been banned...maybe just given a warning.

No warning, this was a couple of years ago, had to start all over with a new name.
 
Well, maybe Preston should just sign up with a new screen name. Then this can all be put behind us and we can all enjoy talking with each other again. If you want, I will send you his email address and you can tell him how you got back on RC. I know he would appreciate it.

Probably, I don't know who this Preston character is anyway so I don't care if he comes back or not. Besides it sound like he was banned for a good reason anyway so it would probably be better if he didn't come back.
