Hey Richard, here's that crab again!

This time he hung around while I ran to grab my real camera.

So you still say he's a type of decorator crab that live in large sponges? He was walking by the front glass until i showed up. Then he boogied on back to these orange sponges and then disappeared behind them. He's a big sucker... body the size of a silver dollar.

Hmmm

looks nothing like any carapace I have seen on the myriad of decorator crabs in the Gulf in the pic.....I am thinking.....it may be best to deal with him before he becomes evil!

I believe, typically, that hair on a crab is a bad sign! maybe put in a trap, and get rid of him, or put him in the sump!

He'd be easy to grab if i needed to. When he comes out anyway.
But i don't like to remove anybody unless i know they are doing harm.
