Sure. We've got no problem with clean, polite conversation. Especially in the regional forums it helps build a community. Now start that thread with "I got slapped down for not having enough posts to sell so I need to pad that" and we've got issues. The last thing I want to see here is this thread getting serious, but it's all about intent.


You have now forfeited any gold start that you may have been entitled to.
 
You should jump out of your fox hole that you guys hide in from time to time and chat again. Usually the only mod that's not yelling at us on here is Nanook. And most of the time, he is less than coherent. :)

So Paul, I never got to the end of the book, did it really tun out that everyone poo's ?

It was like a cliff hanger.
 
I'm more of an aluminum star kind of guy anyway. Actually, I could have earned a star earlier because I almost said Curious George, but then I thought it might be just a monkey. In fact, I started asking myself if it was really a monkey at all, even though I've seen it a thousand times and always thought it was Curious George in a car drinking a beer (grape soda).

I think we have some pretty good threads compared to other forums.
 
Point taken.

This is a really large site. The folks that moderate it have real lives and jobs of their own. It makes it genuinely impossible to visit and post in all of the areas that they're responsible on a regular basis.

As for Nook, yes, that's my experience as well. I've had beers with him in Griss' basement. ;)

I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. You should pick it up again. Just remember though, the little squiggly lines in the middle are letters and letters make words and words make sentences, and sentences tell stories. You'll get to the end. Gotta keep at it!
