Hello keepers.....

...a pleasure to be able to frequent this Tunze forum. Good times.

I do not own any Tunze units, one day in the furture I'm hoping.

No matter what I read up on or search for, I'll admit I have a hard time grasping and digesting what I read abou the "filters" and "skimmers" as well as the "powerheads/pumps."

I was wondering if by chance, you can lead me to someplace I can better understand and attain more insight on the various units and variable mentioned above.

Above all, I'm interested in a filter as well as a skimmer.

I would prefer a Hang on back styled skimmer.....and prefer a filter that is easy and has an adjustable flow rate.

I'm sorry if I sound like a wacky keeper here, but i just want to be sure i can read and research as much as I can prior to jumping into any purchases where I'm not fully comprehending the product and its details in full.

many thanks.......aloha;)

We do not make any hang on tank products, all of our products are for in tank use. You could check www.tunze.com or read through this forum for more info.

ahhh I see....I misunderstood then. I apologize about that.

I have apparently misundertood what the pictured brackets are used for.

I have looked over the site many times as well as look over this great forum here on RC..........now that I know there are no HOB skimmers available.......may I ask if there will ever be any thoughts to possibly produce a tunze that will be a HOB????

Lastly......I'm assuming that I didn't misunderstand the fact that the comline and other filters hang on the back of the aquarium as well right???

Are any of the filters adjustable in regards to flow???

Thank you so very much for your time.

If you got an electronic pump like a 7200/2 to run the filter it would be adjustable. We don't make hang on units because all hang on units have a major flaw, if something happens the water or skimmate ends up all over your floor and their is almost no way to completely avoid this problem. Comline units go in tank.
