Well guys im getting here and settled in West allis, Wisconsin right across the street from the milwaukee mile. Im originally from ny but, my fiance's job transfered us to Oklahoma city, for 3 months, Now to west allis hopefully permanent!. And my 4 fish have survived both moves amazingly well my eel... went carpet surfing.. I was wondering if you guys would teach me about the local fish stores? i have discovered a few.. went to the re-grand opening of the one on oklahoma ave? i believe just looking for best places for local supply's, fish an the like! also interested in small frags of soft coral's didnt dare bring any with me for the long trip! thanks again!

If you contunue down Oklahoma to highway 100 (108th st.) you'll be very close to Pet World and Aquatics Unlimited. Pet World is in the strip mall just to the right and Aquatics is on the left a mile or two down. Besides that there are a couple other Pet Worlds around, Hoffer's to the north, and some chain places over on 76th though only Petco does any marine. The Petco used to be pretty good for a chain, but that's not longer the case.

I like Aquatics Unlimited they have done alot of nich work to there store I dont even think you can consider hoffers a place to buy fish there fish all look sick and the tanks have a lot of green alge also costomer help sucks

I moved about 2 years ago from Ohio. I have found that stores around here are nothing like I had in Ohio. The prices are high and there is VERY little SPS stores. However I have only hit the ones around milwaukee. Thanks for posting this thread because I now got a list of some new stores to check out.

I'm about 20 mins from West Allis. Let me know if you need any help moving tanks or anything!!

If you are looking for SPS stuff you are probably better off finding some from someone on the WRS site than looking at the LFS in Milwaukee.

No im looking for mainly softies, i removed my metal halide from my tank for the time being and just running power compacts 2x55 on a cube so not enough light atm i may put back on the metal halide later trying to talk fiance into a bigger tank

I have some misc soft corals I'd give you.

I ended up with a pink something or other in a grab bag kind of deal. Silly thing grows like a weed. It looks cool, but the single little coral I started with at this point is has split into a bunch about 8" in diameter. I'd happily give you half.
