Hi-End LFS in Bay Area?

Hey BAR members,

I'm coming to the Bay Area for the Farmer's show on June 25. I figured I'd make it a weekend trip for some sightseeing and LFS searching. Any sightseeing spots I should check out in the area? Also, what LFS would you recommend visiting in the San Jose/Fredmont/Milpitas area? I realize that some LFS won't have much because they'll be taking their good stuff to the show, but it would still be fun to check out the shops. So, any high quality stores in the area worth checking out? Please list a website or address, so I can mapquest the location easily.

Right on Kinetic, I've got one more year left! Was your friend into reefing? Haven't met anybody yet who was, although it's a pretty small school.

You should check out Dolphin Pet Village and Natural Life Aquarium too..

Those are good LFS's to visit that's for sure =)

My friend wasn't into reefing, but I've visited him at LMU a couple times. It's a nice campus! and definately small. 1 more year! congratz =) hope you enjoy the bay area!

If you find yourself in Berkeley, don't miss Octopus's Garden. Lots of great livestock and wonderful displays. Aquatic Gallery is my fav down south tho'.

OK, not LFS BUT, since you are in the neighbourhood, maybe
Steinhart's Aquarium in SF and, for a day trip (or if you are driving up) there is, of course, the Monterey Bay Aquarium...

In anycase, if you are in Milpitas, then definitely go to Aquatic Gallery.
