Hi! moving to B-burg soon..

Hey everyone,
well, I'm not a big RC'er, not that anything is wrong with RC, I just spend more time at Nano-reef.com. anyhoo, I'm moving to B-burg next Aug.. It sounds like a long time from now, but I've been planning for the last 2 years, and just waiting out my Air Force Enlistment, and starting in October or so, I'll be in and out of town about every 2 months or so..

Just wanted to say hi, and see how the reefing is up that way. I've been living in Charleston, SC and we have great local reefers, I have a good deal of other nano-reefers in town with me now, and the LFS are great. I read though that they local fish shop in B-burg just closed.. thats sad.. anyhoo!

I had a 10g nano reef, it was nice, and now I'm building a 2g pico zoa garden. Its going to be epic..

Welcome to the area. Our group is fairly spread out from the New River Valley thru Roanoke to Smith Mountain Lake to Lynchburg with a few outliers. We seem to have lost several active members in Blacksburg recently due to out of town moves which is not completely unusual in a college town.

Plenty of opportunities for trading/frag buying. Also utilize group buys fairly regularly.

With the LFS just closed in Christiansburg, your nearest option is Ultimate Aquarium about 40 minutes up I-81 in Botetourt County.

welcome and farewell, i actually am moving out of the area next week after 10 years down there. some very nice tanks and even nicer people. ill still be lurking.

Thanks everyone, I actually grew up in Lexington, so SWV and the Roanoke Valley, S-Valley.. I'm very familiar with all of that. I'm excited to move back to VA and to a different part of the state.
