Roger,
How are you? I hope doing well! Hey I have this older Tunze nano wavebox with controller 6091. I love it!
It makes a buzzing noise/vibration that I can hear and feel through my granite counter top with goes all the way around the tank.
When the pump kicks on, buzzzz/hummm noise. I am thinking the little rubber pads the are on the magnets may need replacing and one is completely gone!!!
Can I purchase new ones from you Roger? I can see the box move slightly when the pump kicks on. Not sure if that is normal or not.
I just want to get her fine tuned and quiet it down a bit. So, questions are as follows:
1. Can I purchase new pads from you for both inside and outside magnets?
2. Spare parts for pump to have on hand. Can I purchase those as well?
Thank you and have a great day!

The box will move as the pump cycles off an on. The bumpons are available, our part 6200.509, they are out of stock but we get some in on Wed. I would suspect the noise is from the propeller rubbing the housing. The 6206 Nano Wavebox was a bear to produce, it was almost completely hand made. They took a 6055, sawed the sides and bottom off, glued it into the body and base which are essentially from the 9002 skimmer and their were lots of little issues with the prop lining up with the front housing. Look through the front and see if the prop rubs at some point, this can be adjusted a few ways, if it is low, you can try just firmly pushing up on the pump plate to try to get it engaged higher. If it is to the left or right, you can gently try to twist the pump to one side on the base plate, you may break a glue joint but that is fine so long as it is still attached. They also sometimes would file a mm or 2 off the blades of the prop to make a final adjustment. We have every spare part for these still except the 6091 is replaced by 7092.

Roger,
Do I call you directly to order the bumpers? Thanks for the info on the impeller. I will check and make adjustments if necessary. Yes, it looks like quite a bit of work went into building these. I love it though. So I will do what I have to to get it quite.
There should be no noise at all?
Thank you Roger

It should make a soft click and a bit of a "breathing noise" but no grinding noises.
