Hi there, if anyone wants in, lmk. I'll be ordering for a Friday delivery and will pick up directly at FedEx.

I have about $115 worth of stuff. Free shipping after $225. lmk if you want in.

Best,
Angela

Hi Sedo,

Can you pick up on Friday? I can't hold your things in a tank, only in the box. You can paypal me in advance using your debit acct, or bring cash. I will let you know on shipping once the order is finalized. I have another guy I work with that may order a few things. If we don't qualify for free shipping, then I will divide the shipping charges based on the relative amounts spent by all people who order.

The package should arrive before 11am on Friday. I will pick it up at Fedex when it is there. I will acclimate my items, and bring the rest, in their box, to my lab at Cornell where you can pick them up at any time during the day (I will give directions.) Please bring a styrofoam box with you for transport if possible.

Thanks, Angela

I'm out of work at 7 am on friday and off for the weekend so it works for me. pm me your paypal info and I'll let you know what I want. thanks

im in if sedorusc and i are meeting friday so im going to see if he will bring my order for me. how much more do you need to make $225?

Hi there,

The order was placed today as they need it two days in advance. We made well over the minimum. Sorry we didn't get you in, but you are all the way in Rochester anyhow so you might consider finding someone more local to you to pool.

best,
Angela:)

BlueZoo, thumbs up.

Everything came in alive and not one animal appeared stressed. In this (shared) order there were five fish, two shrimp, snails, hermits and a number of corals. I haven't heard from the other folk, but the health of the coral is apparent. I had some difficult specimens shipped (red goni, yellow leather) and they appear to be as good as could be hoped for on day 1. My angelfish didn't seem at all stressed, and was even swimming around in the bag when it got here. They also included an acclimation kit with the order and a sample of food.

Really BIG thumbs up! They are having a shipping special- all orders overnight $20. I mad it to free shipping, but at $20 almost any order is a steal.

:)

African Flameback Angel - you can find it under dwarf angels. It's amazingly beautiful and is eating selcon enriched live brine like a champ. I'll be switching to mysis soon... :)

It'll probably be a bit until my next order, but I wholly encourage you to start a group order- but right now the shipping rate is great for even one person ($20 before Sept 1.)

switch to (small size) New Life/Spectrum pellets.

Mysis can cause red slime.
African Flameback was the first type of Angelfish I ever kept.

Why does it cause red slime? Is it just high nutrient load, or is there some bacteria in it?

I have those pellets, actually. I am feeding a little bit of bluezoo's food in addition to frozen cyclops, fresh brine and frozen mysis. I will try the pellet and see if he goes for it. Thanks!

Mysis often cause an "oil slick" when fed to an aquarium. The slick can fuel cyano growth. Many people rinse frozen mysids or HUFA enriched artemia before feeding it.
Pellet foods, (in general), get consumed by fishes before getting a chance to break up in the water column like mysids.
