HideNSeek Brittle Star

does anyone else have a brittle star that hides all the time? i bought one about a month ago in my cleaning crew along with a serpent star...i see the serpent star a lot, but i have only seen the brittle star like twice: once when i put it in the tank and another time hiding under a piece of live rock...should i be worried and start digging for a corpse or is this natural behavior?

Well, first of all, Serpent and Brittle Starfish are not Cephalopods. They are inverts.

Second of all, it is normal behavior. They will always hide, and usually come out at night to eat the left overs from the day and scavange. HTH!
