Hiding pipes

In plumbing up my 220 I have gone round and round about how I'll be placeing pipes. Currently I plam to have one on either side, back corner going all the way to the bottom. There are 2 ways I am thinking of hidding this. 1st is to rough up the out side of the pipe, then use pvc glue and glue sand and crushed coral to the pipe. I did this to one pipe already, and it looks cool, but not really natural. Better than the pvc pipe, but not natural. Last night the thought was to take a 1.5 piece of pvc drill holes in it, and stich small rocks to it. Placing the 1" pipe inside. What do you think?

use a forsner bit and just drill through large rocks and insert pipe. It might be bad if ou want to tae the pipe out though. It could also turn the into shards.
