i have a 190g sps tank long story short my hydrometer was broke and i didnt know my sps started bleaching from the tips so i bought a new test kit and my ca was 600+ alk around 17+ dkh and mag 1600+ i thought the test kit was wrong so i took it to lfs test was right salinty 1.030 so i slowly dropped my salinty to 1.026 and now im reading ca 550 dkh 15 mag 1400 what should i do now just wait a couple days then test again or do a water change any help would be great

How slowly did you drop your sg? What ever you did the numbers are coming down. I would think you should keep doing the same but take your time with it

Over a 24 hour period i changed out a few gallons of tank water with fresh water no salt it was a total of around 20 gallons i cant really keep doing what i was doing or my salinty will drop past where i should be right?

Well I imagine you could do some water changes with water that's has good parameters. With a roughly 200g system... I dunno.. 10% every couple days is 20 gallons. That would be a lot of water and salt, but it would be a gradual way to take out the water that's over saturated and replace it with good water. I have a feeling that whatever damage has been done to the corals is done. Now it's just a matter of recovering what you can.
