This critter came in on a seriatopora frag. It has a tube in to which it retracts when startled. Has not moved in 3 months that it has been in the tank. Any ideas? Good, bad or merely ugly?
Sounds to me like a vermetid snail....mostly harmless except some have reported that the "web" it spins can smother sps corals....I think most reefers have or have had these in their tanks. I try to fill the opening with super glue gel when I see one.
