Hitch Hiker! (the good kind)

Hello, I received a small order of live rock yesterday and I found a hitch hiker on one of the Manado live rocks.

It looks like a stony coral or possibly a sponge.

It's bright purple and looks like a very small set of deer antlers, except the ends are blunt.

My camera is pretty poor and this guy is pretty small, otherwise I'd include a pic to help make the ID easier.

I was just wondering if you might of come across this guy in your rock pools and had an ID on it.

Hi, glad to hear you got the rock ok, thanks for the order! It sounds like it could be some type of formafarian (sp?), however without a photo I'm not really sure.
