hitch hiker with my derasa

i just bought a nice derasa about 2". after placing it in my tank and 2hrs later, i found a tiny white starfish. any idea what kind of star fish it is. should i take it off. please advise

probably an asterina star. I wouldnt worry. They are harmless.

would need a picture to id but is probably an asterina and is usually harmless

you might want to flick it off so it doesn't bother the clam. if he moves up and touches the mantle the clam will retract. won't harm it but just bother him.
