tis a crab that lives on acropora. i kinda of like them and consider them ok.
pretty rare for me to see now days.

Did the coral itself have any damage to it? If not i would put it back. I have heard that acro crabs can't live without their coral but i have no idea if thats true or not.

it looks like a acro crab.. it will die if not with its host coral or find a new host.. .. ive experienced it..

Crazy! I just found one on my Acro too..At first I thought it was a Nudi and I freaked out. Second look closer it was a tiny crab..Mine wasnt as pink as this..whew

Commensal! Keep em, they should be ok. I've got them on a bunch of my Acro colonies, and no damage or harm done, yet!

I have heard they will keep the colony clean of pest and parasites. Not sure if there is any truth to this. See if you know someone with AEFW or red bugs and see what he does.

They are good. There are about 20 species of commenceral crabs for SPS. Yours is one of the less often seen ones. The most common is the bandit. The crab needs a coral to survive, and studies have shown coral survival rate is higher when being hosted.
Good find!
