Poor bastard only had 3 legs left, but still gets all over the place at night. Can anyone tell me if he is a good or bad addition to a will be reef tank.

That is an emerald crab, ive never really had luck with them in a reef tank, always been a pest, but ive none others who have had good luck with them.

I have a couple in my tank. They are very good imo, with some algae control. I have heard if they run out of pest algae to eat they they may move on to your corals. I wouldn't suggest them in a reef imo, why risk it when there's better scavengers out there.

yeah i figured id scoop him out anyway. All three legs he has left are on one side. Kinda sad.
