Not too sure. Still very new to this myself and the pics not the best for identifying features. However I have a peanut worm that is very similar in coloration. So you may want to look at that to see if it looks similar. Also although a pic is worth a thousand words some info on behaviour and where it was found ( in the sand, coming out of a rock, etc.) can help out as well.

Hmm that looks almost identical to something in my brothers little 20 gallon that just kind of hides in the rocks and peeks out looking for food. I'm interested to find out what that is.

I think you are right Circesfire. Looks like a type of Sipunculids to me too.

Thanks for the help ptomoson, what did you type to get the pic to work?

I found the worm in the sand early this morning with the night LED's still on. It acts more snake-like than anything else with the red spot is on its "head". Thanks for the replys!

Google Peanut Worm. They're beneficial and nothing to worry about.
