Hitchhiker ID - worm?

I recently purchased some LR from a local reefer and just noticed a couple of days ago that it came with a hitchhiker. I haven't seen the entire body, but the part I saw was about 3 inches long and about 1/4 inch wide. It's white with 2 rows of spines in its back. I can't take a pic because whenever I turn on the lights, this thing will hide within the rocks. A good comparison would be a white caterpillar. Anybody have experience with these and if so, are they harmful to fish and corals? Thanks.

Sorry, that's not enough info to say anything but polychaete worm. The worm should stay out if you use a flashlight with transparent red plastic taped over the end to examine your tank at night and then you can take a picture.
