Anybody recognize this guy? Part of his body was covered by shell and he was mostly black with just a few white markings.

Thanks, move some rocks around and found 2 about 1.5 ". Look like cockroaches and move almost as fast.

Stomatellas don't move fast at all. They're snails.

The cockroach things sound more like mantis shrimp. Have you heard any mysterious clicking coming from your tank? Are these rocks straight from the ocean?

They were for sure snails. They look very much like the shield slugs listed on lionfish lair which are actual snails. They were not mantis shrimp fast but they were much faster than any snails I'm used to.
