Found this on my new LR, its body is black. Thats all i can say.

Should i put it back in or kill?

Its foot is white and it has what appears to be a heary body, by its one eye its got an ekstra tract thingy.

It's a cowrie, not sure what species, but it looks kind of like an atlantic yellow cowrie.

So they are Reef Safe?

I believe it's Monetaria annulus, although I'd need a more in-focus pic to be certain. Most people consider them to be reef safe, as they primarily graze on diatoms and algae, including green hair algae.
