Tried this one in the disease forum without any helpful response. I have a small hippo that has started to develop HLLE. My tank is smallish, but my new 125 is in the works and the changover is in Feb. I have looked into the possible cause, stray voltage:I have 2 ground probs, tank and sump. High nitrates: I have and always have 0 ppm. Stress: there are only 4 small fish in my reef, and they all get along. I believe the problem to be a vitamin lacking diet. I would like to know, IYE what has prevented or cured HLLE.
