who here does not have a cleaner nor a fire shrimp?

i had 2 but they died 5 minutes after putting them in my tank... but that was last month. i dont know what happened? everything was fine... but now im worried if i get a shrimp they will die again, ive been doing weekly changes and such....

now i wont my shrimps back!!!

I think the trick is you have to float the bag for about 10-20 minutes, they are very sentitive to the temperature.

I used to have problem adding them, but the last 3 I floated the bags and they all live and happy.

Hope this help.

Hahaha my neighbors tank crashed and he brought over all his inverts, I wasnt home and he said that when he droped his 2 cleaners into my tank the climbed up the big island and within seconds fell to the sand as if they had a heart attack....When he told me this I was laughing so hard..... Yes delicate big time! Acclimate everything!

I have been 100% successful with shrimp by letting them float for 24hours, then slowly being salinity acclimation.

anytime I have done anything less, they always died
