hob skimmer and dual reactor

I was thinking of setting up a 20 gallon frag tank and I don't really have the room for a sump. I have seen were a dual reator was hooked up to a return pump line eliminating a need for a pump on reactors. My question would be do you think it would be feasable to hook dual reactor to a hob skimmer with adjustment valve and maintian good water quality?I will be dosing kalk in top off water.
