Hobbie Bug 16" LED's

I'm upgrading my T5 lights to the hobbie bug LED programmable lights. How will coral react to this? Are LED's a better way to go? I really wanted more color in the tank. I also read you must aclimate corals to the LED's so you don't "burn" them.

I have the Red sea max 130 30 gal, doing the hood delete, any advice? Also advice on how high I should mount the light?

Milliopora will not react well to a LED change from T5 or MH. Others have had varying success with other corals. It really depends on where the corals came from as far as if they were under MH or T5 lighting to begin with. A lot of places are switching to LEDs for coral keeping. Mount them high and start off with low power and acclimate over several weeks
