This is a long shot but wanted to see if anyone out the was willing to trade my high end pc for a high end reef set up. I recently got married and is expecting a baby girl this summer. If anyone is willing to trade let me know. I have a feeling that once my baby girl is born I won't have anytime to be on my pc. I probably spent 3k on this beast.

Looking for a 34g-45g set up only. Willing to trade for reef set up and cash. Or willing to sell if someone is looking for a gaming pc. Like I said it's a long shot but might as well try. Oh and tank has to be in prime condition (no leaks, no scratches, etc) and star fire.

I had a baby 2 yrs and three months ago and it changed my life. It is a little crzy to hear someone say that they don't have time for PC but they do have time for reef, and the reason for this is because they are going to have a baby.............lol

Just say REEF is as important as my baby and I will make time for both, but not for PC.

So here is the equation:

PC ≠ New born baby, so the PC < Baby (PC is not equal to baby, PC may less than baby)

REEF ≥ baby (but REEF is greater than or equal to baby?)

I'm just going for zoa dominated tank for now, I've done it before bro. 2 years of just doing water changes. I would understand if I wanted an sps tank, but Zoas are easy. And if you can't manage just a zoa tank with a baby you chose the wrong hobby. Now pc I'm on prolly 1 hour a day, and 2-3hrs on the weekend. Im on games a lot.

I was just kidding man, take it easy. I have to admit one thing though, for me ........ I can't live without a saltwater tank. period

My fault bro, didn't mean to sound harsh. No worries. I told my wife I was only gonna stick to 1 hobby. Playing games won't exist in my life once the baby is born lol. Apologies

Congrats on the baby!!
Beware a good night's sleep won't exist in your life for a while, not the norm; both my kids were excellent sleepers at night, the occasional whine when they were hungry, fed, diaper change and back to sleep. Now is getting the older one to shut up the potty mouth !
 
I always laugh when people are having their first and think their free time is about to end while I'm sitting over here thinking if I had just one I could do anything. good luck on the trade, and the baby.

Thanks you guys, im not that much of a sleeper anyways, team no sleep, just pretend I'm in Vegas....with a baby lol not to many gamers here. Bump to the top
 
I have 3 kids... All grown to high school age at minimum. Just built my first "RIG" for my son (the youngest) . Yours def looks a little sexier and has a little more beef in there it looks like. I don't see LOL on your game screen!! ***! Man league of legends is fantastic! Hehehe.

Trust me you will have time for games and a tank if you choose to. Priorities ... But probably not the money for either!! Good luck with everything and congrats!

Thanks bro! Weekend bump! Here's most of the stuff I have for my pc http://pcpartpicker.com/p/vJsdK8 plus maybe $250 more with speakers and radiators corsair h90 and 55 , 2 kraken h10s Almost $4K. Willing to trade for high end reef or sell. Hit me with a price.
 
Congrats on the baby. Hmmmmm. No time for a reef and a new baby? I beg to disagree. I maintain 3 reef tanks and a 4 month old baby and 8 hour night shift at work? It just comes down to managing your time. It's doable just set your priorities although just be prepared to not get a complete7 hrs rest but 2-3 hrs interval between feedings.

I forgot that I had an 130d Red Sea max at my parents house, so nm on the pc. Lol told my parents I was getting a tank and they told me that I still had the rsm in the back shed. Score! Stand has water damage on the 4 legs, would it be okay if I took those off or does that have anything to do with the stability of the stand?
 
Check the stand at the bottom, many stands are made of pressed board, MDF?; if swelling is noticed then I would not use it.

It's the original rsm stand, one side is swelled but you can take those off. Would that be ok or the stand wouldn't hold without the legs? The rest of the stand is ok.
 
Just check it well, last thing you need is for a full tank to start coming apart due to moisture damage; if it's just the legs yeah but just be safe.
Pressed board when water damaged, can be scratched off with your finger nail; becomes very friable.
