Hofer Gurgle Buster

Hey Guys I built 2 of these tonight for my setup and I am wondering this when the pipe with the holes do i just extend it down into my drain and make it 1 long pipe with holes on one end with the HGB and the other end attach to my drain or is there some other way to install this that Im missing thanks

You are missing a coupling that connects the Hofer to your drain pipe, You must adjust the height of the drain pipe so the hofer sits where you want the water level inside the overflow box. Simple but ingenious!

oooo ok so you make the small HGB then use a coupling to attach it to the drain pipe? lol we was wondering about that tonight while making them and I was thinking you just extended the pipe with the holes simple mistake to fix tho

you can do that. I made mine from the entire drain pipe. they screw into my bulkheads. just had to do a bit of measuring. I love mine. very very quiet. however, I had to clean the air line cause it had salt creep in it. the way I have mine in the 180 is the water drops about 4"

John, I couldnt tell you. mine are 1 1/2" pipe so they are on the larger side.

Ah Ok thats cool I guess i can give these a try if they dont workI can make some more not like I will be out alot of money heh
