Holding tank for coral/parameters

Hello,

I am using Kent reef salt, and tested last night, the following results;

ALK: 8.6
MAG:1440
CALCIUM: 500+
NITRATE: 10PPM
PHOS: 0.09
SG: 1.025
TEMP: 25.7 - 26 DEGREES C

I am expecting some corals today (Zoas, Chalice), are the above ranges acceptable. I'm going to change my salt to Redsea Blue bucket to keep the parameters in line where I need them.

I have added some GFO to lower phosphates.

Any advice welcome.

If you have a display that they will eventually be placed into as a permanent home, try to match the parameters as closely as possible. When the quarantine time concludes it'll be less stressful when you move them.

I agree that the corals likely will be okay. You might see some browning with those nutrient levels, but that's hard to predict.
