Holly cheato batman!

As some of you may remember i had a bit of a caulerpa outbreak in my tank. This was caused by small chunks of it getting sucked into my return pump and into the display tank. After getting the yellow tang it was completely whiped out of the main tnak but was still doing well in the refugium. I couple months ago i decide to add a small amount of cheato to the refugium and guess what, it totally outgrow the caulerpa and then some.

Check out this wad i pulled out, it was completley packed into my little refugium which is only about 4 gallons.

Anybody need any? If not i might just throw it away.

Yhea this is all cheato, its like fishing line. I dont think you tang would like it like it does the caulerpa.

What do you use to light your refugium?

The chaeto is sold and shipped. I grow it with a day/sun twisty pc i bought from walmart. Also its on 24/7. Now that i think about it had bob order me a light and i never payed or picked it up. Crap forgot about that.

I had a yellow tang that ate chaeto like there was no better food on the planet. The fish went crazy whenever I'd drop some in the tank.

Wow that's strange. My yellow tang poops out stuff that looks like it was chaeto... or worms... I've never witnessed it eating any before.
