That...is a bit beyond the ability of most tanks to support in the style to which it has become accustomed. While I generally favor them, I believe that one has reached tank max! Know any zoo that needs detritus eaters?

i actually have never seen a bigger bristle worm in my tank longer than 10"...so i think this one hitchiked with some polyps i bought the past weekend...

Cool worm. Do you have any more pictures of it? Most university biology departments (e.g. mine!) gladly accept donations of specimens like.

That's a big worm there... I have a small bristle in my refugium, like one to two inches, I guess I'll have to get him out now. LoL

thats unneccesary..they are actually beneficial....but just take out the BIG ones..like this one i cought..lol

if i ever find a worm that big, i'll pay someone to come take it (after screaming like a little girl)!!!

that worm might be a eunicid worm. I have seen a eunicid worm of that size before. It was pretty scary looking. Whether it is a eunicid worm or bristleworm, that is one big disgusting worm.
