this is a real blue/purple tipped acro. there is the other huge one at the store last time I was there at least.

the green on this one is bright and deep but not exactly like it comes across in the pic. nice purple rim on it too.

ok I talked to chris well one of the many chris's and had him send me some pics before the destroyed this guys reef. just kidding on the destroy kind of

he told them his business was booming and he had no time and it was starting to go downhill slowly so instead of killing everything he just gave it up. I think he is in the boat business over on this side of the bay.

I think they said the whole thing is for sale for somewhere around $5000. don't hold it to anyone if I got the number wrong but I think that sounds right. something like 2 huge skimmers a couple 1000 watt lights with 400 watters. I think 2 ampmasters and 6 or 8 tunzes. calcium reactor aquacontroller. thats all I can remember talking about. i think it was 400 or 420 gallons. would be awesome to have but I just got the 265 I would be divorced before the wedding if I tried to bring that thing home. I also have no clue if he wants to part things out or not. I know where the guys business is maybe I will try to see if he is willing to part anything out. maybe I will point him in this direction so he himself can deal with it if he wants to.

went to fins. very large and extremely impressive peices. didnt buy anything also didnt see any prices listed for anything and noone asked me if i needed any help in the 10 minutes I was there. Not intended to bash the place, just stating a fact. I also noticed that all of the very large caps they have are starting to bleach. they may want to frag whats left of them. the large tabling pcs themselves were extremely impressive. Ive never seen pcs like those

the green cap had alot of layers and it was white where it wasn't getting light but still had polyps out when I saw it. it may be getting worse but it may be the same as last time I saw it. the picture shows it on the far side of the tank and thats a tough place to get fully lit. of course they put a huge bio load on there system putting it all in there so hopefully they don't have any issues.

the monster green cap is just fine i am looking at it right now it is in my 180 had to use so much restraint to keep from taking home a truckload of stuff took the big cap and another pink and blue rimmer acro of some type myself and chris P werent sure what it was but some of the other pieces he has in there are just crazy wish I could of checked out that tank before it came down and I agree hard to believe one of the 4 chris's didnt see if you needed help I always get the greatest of service from Chris P. and Chris M. the 2 owners plus their staff is pretty knowledgable sos I try and make the trip all the way from weeki wachee at least once aweek wish i would of got to that green polyp piece you got rob first was told it was spectacular

if you dont mind what did the charge you for it? i know what i was quoted just wondering. i like that store but the only thing i have always hated was that the prices are ALWAYS different. heck i can ask the same guy and still get a different price on stuff even in the same visit. they seem to just make them up as they go depending on who you are talking to.
sometimes the price goes down so i like that part lol.
the problem does not seem to happen when i talk to the younger looking super hyper guy named chris. the shorter older guy that i think is one of the owners is the worst about it. he will give me a different price whin 10 min of asking lol. I almost make it a point to ask several times when there until i hear one i like.. dont get me wrong i like the store and have droped a good bit of cash there but it would be nice to have some consistancy.
