Indeed. I'm sure it will continue for a while as people are squeezed tighter and tighter. The boss woman said the other day that we should think about downsizing the tank setup "for now, just until things take an upturn and money isn't so tight". I said "No need to downsize, I'll just file for a bailout, my reef is too big to fail." Hehe, she didn't find it nearly as amusing as I did. =)

Our forum (C-Sea) seems to have been trending this way for some time. I think its the sign of the times. Seeing a lot more "getting out" threads in the used equipment forums. Although its always a plus to snatch up a deal, would rather see people stay in the hobby.

Personally, whenever I buy something, I try to see if I can sell something to offset the cost a little or at least make it appear more palatable to my wife, lol
