i just looked in my tank with a red light for kicks and i seen these things they move fast they look like a snail and a shrimp combined!! i dont know what they are but it looked like they were eating algea. has anyone ever seen these things they look like there white or clear and i guess like an 1/8 inch?

Sound like pods or mysid shrimp.

they are bigger than copepods and they look bigger than the mysis shrimp that i feed my fish. are these guys a good thing?
i just ask because some of my mushrooms were bleaching out and i think someone told me about these big white parasitic things that feed on corals.
