Home Depot Magnesium/Calcium

Home Depot doesn't carry magflake or magpellets by dow anymore. At least not in my area. They appear to sell a generic "Magnesium chloride" and "Calcium chloride". Anyone have any idea if these are safe as aquarium additives? Anything I should be looking for?

The calcium bromide is a bit of a red flag. If there's enough that they're listing it then you might want a different brand. Hard to say for sure, but that would be my best guess.

I could not find mag flakes locally either so I picked up 20# off eBay. It was 25-27$ but was worth it from fuel savings for me! The seller was limpits_reef. I had a very good transaction with him and will buy again if I ever run out of mag!
