So....

Someone broke into my house today...AWESOME!

I feel so safe now....Gah I am ****ed off!

Thank god my dog is alive...

Anywho, watch your homes as you never know when you will get hit...

i deeply feel for you. i also have been home invaded. took everything but the big screen(couldnt get it through the door. but tried cus it was in the middle of the room.) we lived on the 3rd floor and not a single neighbor saw anything.
there are not many words that can sum up that feeling.
glad no one was hurt is the main thing. the rest is just stuff.
 
That sucks. I know how you feel, all three of our cars were broken into less than one month ago in our driveway...the night we left for the keys. :(
 
dang swirly...sorry to hear that. I had my house broken into when I lived downtown. took my surround sound ,my bike, and ransacked the place. I musta drove around for days after that looking for some crackhead riding my bike around. Glad to hear nobody got hurt(thats most important). Good thing water weighs so much..tough to steal a tank! Ive heard that alafaya,waterford area is getting pretty crappy as far as crime goes. get an alarm!
 
I took a class on the Sociology of Violence and the Sociology of Murder. In both classes we had speakers come in and talk about crime statistics in the UCF area. Basically the area between UCF and Waterford is heating up as far as property crime goes. Kind of sad.
I get bulletins from UCF in my email about car breakins and thefts from time to time. Makes me glad I dont live in campus housing.
 
The only thing I own worth a damn...Well to a man that is...my flippin TV!!! :(

I don't even own anything nice, which sucks, kuz now I have nothing...ugh
 
Dude that totally sucks man. Just glad that no one got hurt. It sucks that the tv is gone. People are getting brave man. I had a co-worker get broken in to when his wife was home. You always see the commercials for the alarm company the guy breaks down the door in the middle of the day and think no one would do that. Well they do. The guy busted down the back door when she was watching tv. Luckily he freaked out and ran.
 
Someone broke in and stole your tv?!?!?! Was that the only thing taken? If so, had to be someone who saw it and knew your schedule. And knew your dog!!! I'd be careful who you let in your home - even from RC. I had a guy steal coral out of my tank while my back was turned. He even hung out to talk for like 30-45 minutes afterword with it in a bag in his pocket! That sucks. I bought a new security system with camera JUST for my tank after that!!!! You cant trust anyone now days. :(
 
i feel ur pain my parents place got hit a couple years back and they took there laptop but left my dads camera with a dozen lenses which were right beside it and worth way more than trashed the place. My dad took the next day off and sat at home hopping they would come back for more.....Now they have my rottie's in the back yard and an American bulldog inside so no one is getting out alive if they try to get it! But the feeling of violation sucks!!!

Wow r u kidding? That is so wrong to snag your coral dude. Did you tell him to put it back? Also did you post a feedback post so we can avoid this person?
 
That's it I'm teaching my dogs how to use the gun! Was your dog in a crate or something? They say that is the best security system (haveing a dog in the house). I know I wouldn't break into my house if I saw Karma (my bulldog) snarling at me through a window.

I don't want to hijack the thread.... I did get the coral back, but I promised not to tell who it was in exchange :(.... what made it worse.... I hooked the person up with a coral to be nice and the @#$!'er sold it on RC for less than what I sell it for!!!!!!! Damn, that ****ed me off!!!!!!!!
If it ever happens again I'm going to post the video!!!!

Does anyone out there know how to fix TV's? I have a broken 54" Sony projection TV I can donate.
