I was wondering if anyone local has put together a batch yet? And if so where did you get your ingredients?I'm on the West side just for reference. Thanks

There is a nice asian market around E30th & Superior, A huge 1 on Emery in North Randall, a small 1 here in Elyria I have yet to go into

When I made a big batch about 6 months ago that I am still using I went to a Wal-mart Supercenter and they had this package of fresh mixed seafood. If I remember correctly it had squid, octopus, clams, mussels and some crab in it.

Thinslis,
They don't carry the fresh uncooked stuff like they used to?

When I lived in Wickliffe it was 5 minutes from my house. I used to buy stuff for my tanks there.

Yes I'm sure they do. I'm just saying that if you want to throw a clam bake that is your best bet for the best clams... well in this state anyways =)

I think sams club has that big bag of mixed frozen seafood.
could you also add sushi wrap?(100 percent seaweed) to the mix.

I believe there are three asian food stores in North Olmsted; one on the Brook Park rd. extension across from Minottis beverage store; one at Columbia Rd. (old 252) and Lorain in the plaza with DrugMart; and another a little further east on Lorain rd. (south side of road).

I have not checked any for the ingredients; but I would guess the one near DrugMart is the best bet.
