Homemade blend, how to make mysis sized particles?

Sorry for strange question, but is it possible to make mysis-sized pieces of seafood by using blender?

All I could get - either 1/4" pieces in mix, or baby brine sized blend. Tried different buttons, speeds and time.
Have nobody ask in the family - the blender is used solely for blending, making puree consistency food.

Now I have large enough number of corals and trying to switch from frozen mysis and ocean plankton to less expensive (in big amounts) food. Washable before feeding to reduce pollution.
1. Chopping by hand to the mysis size takes a lot of time,
2. Blender gives a lot of fine particles (that have to be washed out before feeding),
3. Tetra Marine Pellets desintegrate rapidly after some soaking and are very difficult to target feed - they float anywhere, except the required place.
4. Freeze dried mysis and plankton float to the surface, even after being soaked, and are still more expensive, than grocery seafood (shrimp, fish, mussels, squid and so on).

Any ideas will be appreciated.

I have used a shredder blade (like for cheese) inside on frozen foods... That creates a nice size particle...

Hmm, my blender has one blade only, but has grating mode. I tried to grate without liquid, but it didn't worked for upper layer - only around the blade. All above it was untouched. The food was frozen and cut to approximately 3/4" x 1/4" pieces.

I'll try manual grating on the metal thing with holes.

Thank you both, more advices are welcome - it's good to have some options.
