Homemade tank stand help

So I made a tank stand and I have run into some issues. I originally made the frame for the stand for a custom stand that I ended up not going through with due to the cost and having a 55g offered to me for free. This raises the first issue. The custom stand was the same length but was wider. This results in the 55g sitting fully supported on three sides but the front edge is not. It only has the benefit of the central brace. Would this be enough or should I add some bracing that would support the entire edge. Second issue is that the stand its self is perfectly level but the top has a slight twist resulting in a very small rock in the tank. This results in about a 1/16" gap in the front left and rear right corner. Or a 1/8" when rocked to allow three sides to sit flat. Could the tank itself be shimmed or should a get a solid plank to cover the entire top and shim that. Thanks in advance.

I'm also in the process of building a stand and was told under no circumstances should you shim a tank. The goal is to have the tank sit flat against the top and you can shim the base. The plank would probably be a better idea to evenly distribute the weight. I had a similar probably with the tank sitting flat except for 2 small raised portions. I just attached a piece of plywood to the top and now the tank sits complete flush.

if you place a piece of 3/4" plywood on top, you can give the tank the support it needs. You can also easily shim between the plywood and the frame of the stand to get it right. HTH
