Homewrecker needed

Alright, I'm tired of looking at the empty tank. I need someone with some better tools (if it uses electricity, I don't have it) and know how than me to help cut a hole in my basement subfloor. I'm pretty sure the concrete underneath is not level so would need help solving that problem too.
I'm pretty good at messing things up and am sure I could cut the hole by myself. I don't know how to tack the carpet back down to keep it from fraying. Tank is a peninsula so I need the carpet to but up to it like it does the wall.

I pay in beer.

You are digging up your basement floor because it might not be level?

Build your stand off the floor and make the stand level. or Am I not understand you right?

I tore out a shower and have seen the type, or lack of, support under the plywood floor. I have no idea what is under the tank and am not going to risk it.
I need to either cut a hole and add support beams then replace the hole.
Or cut a hole and have the tank sit on the concrete.

The floor sits about 1.5 to 2" off the concrete.

what kind of beer veryyyyyy impotant?

"impotant" HUH??? Were you trying to say "important" you goon. Slow down and try proof reading before you hit the submit button.......Dork.

Yes what type of beer is very IMPORTANT!!

well, as I found from the mesh mod meeting, if I promised miller light it won't cost me very much at all.

How bout if you want to help you can name the flavor of beer that makes you impotant. (I always thought is was a quantity issue and not quality)

I know what you are talking about now.. I had a house that had a finished basement and they did the same thing. Any way of cutting out the hole in the floor just for the stand, and start the stand on the Cocreate its self.

I could use a homewrecker around here too! Keep Ange on her toes and spunky. :D

I was definately thinking you could go the complete wrong way with that title...

Roy, I think Angie can take you... I'd be careful.
:D :D :D

Roy, glad someone else is thinking like I am

LOL I was thinking the same thing when I read the title.. I thought what this hobby isn't enough, you need more..

The title was to grab attention, and yes I was thinking of cutting the hole to lower the stand onto the concrete but I'm pretty sure the concrete wasn't finished level. It isn't in the bathroom where I tore out the shower.

That should not matter.. Just make the top of the stand level and you should be good to go. What do you plan on putting under the stand? Is this going to be in- wall or againt the wall type thing?

whatever goes under the stand would be determined by how unlevel the concrete is. Where the shower was it doesn't just slope. There are some nice little mounds and bulges. I am setting it up as a peninsula so I guess it will look in-wall when done.
