Hooking up Ca Reactor Effluent Line to Skimmer?

Been considering plumbing in my ca reactor effluent line to the side of my Octopus Extreme skimmer to disperse CO2 and raise pH back up. Thoughts?

I do this with my calcium reactor and my ph never drops below 8.1 anymore. I placed the effluent so it would disperse in the same location as the outlet of my skimmer. Prior to this I cold not get my ph above 8.0 when the reactor was connected. I have also thought of using a CO2 scrubber for the skimmer air intakes.

by doing this does it affect skimmate production? seems like since i added a fuge to my sump (on opposite of my mh) my ph has been pretty steady.

It does not appear to affect my skimmer at all. I skim fairly dry which always coats the neck of the cup with a thick mud and the skimmate is very dark. My sump is a 180 gallon tank with about a 60 gallon section separated as a refugium.

Let me make sure what you're saying; effluent is exiting the reactor into the tank at your skimmer outlet (my skimmer outlet is in my fuge with my algae), or your effluent is entering the tank by your skimmer pump inlet? Will try either versus drilling and tapping my skimmer body, just want to be sure.
