hookworms

I have a true percula showing a hookworm on top of his pectoral fin....I've heard the easiest thing to do is net him and pick the worm off with your fingernail or razor....other suggestions welcome.....also in my juvenile bangai tank I have some bristleworms ...heard they are beneficial for the ecosystem and I know they make traps for them...let them be or trap them?

IDK about the hookworm, but the vast majority of bristles are beneficial

let the bristle worms be. just dont over feed the tank or they will reproduce like crazy. they may look nasty but will help your tank overall. for the hook worm, i have no idea what to do.
