Hope all is ok after the storm

I had bad flash backs from the other storm lasy month when the tornado went right next to my house and threw tress in all my neighbor's house's.but i'm in bridgeport and the storm went out to long island sound right at the fairfield- bpt. line so i got lucky by 5 miles.. hope everyone else got lucky to after what happend to me last month i would never wish that on anybody...Brian

Whats happing to this world 2 torando's in southern ct in a month never heard of anything like that in my whole life...
We got popped pretty hard in Westport last nite... just got power back a little while ago. Trees down (big trees) live powerlines everywhere. They were blocking our street, so we were stuck. No power, can't leave. Great.
I thanked my lucky stars that I had a battery on my Vortech PM10 to keep flow happening in my little 29. But even still I got a pot and scooped up about potfulls and poured the water briskly back into take to more water around and aerate the tank. AND I had a little emergency battery powered air pump that I used to add a bit more bubbling and motion. And with the lights back on now, you know how the tank looks after almost exactly 24 hours without power?

PS - That was definitely tornado weather we had yesterday. Torrential rain blowing sideways, high winds, green skies, and marble size hail. Everything but the tornado.

Wow. Im just a town over and all we got was driving rain. So glad everything is okay. I had a catastrophic loss to my reef tank several years back during a summer storm caused power failure for around a week...
