Hope I didn't kill my zoas

I just got a new frag which I have QT'd in a 5 gallon bucket and they were doing great until yesterday when I did a 50% water change with water that had undissolved salt particles. They sat in water that had a SG of 1.030 for 20 hours!
They look deflated. A few are laying on their side. I'm soooo sad and mad!
I slowly decreased the SG to 1.025 and then changed 50% of the water from my main tank because the ammonia was high and I'm preparing another 5 gallons OVER NIGHT to do another water change of 80% before I go to work. I'll give them a little phytoplankton in the morning too and hope they pull through.

I know they're hardy but has anyone done this?

Here's the original photo (and you can see 2 of the reasons it's in QT.

But I did get a frag. I hope they'll pull through. I also fragged a single polyp and he looked horrible for two days but now he looks like this frag.

Wish me luck!

A lot lost their outter skin but I think 90% are going to make it. Lot's of blowing the dead skin off with a turkey baster, water changes, and bleaching the bucket out about twice a week to keep the bacteria down.
Yea!

did you have flow going on in this bucket and were they shipped to you or did you pick them up??

I only ask because having a 5 gallon bucket of stagnant water and little oxygen after being shipped in stagnant water with little oxygen just would add to the stress of osmotic shock.

ive damaged corals this way in the past by leaving too long in treatment buckets without the salinity issue....
