Hope this skimmer is worth it, this piece of plastic cost me more than my brand new starphire tank, oak stand & canopy and I'll even go as far as to say also my light set up:

Looks sweet. for the money you spent you figure they would use cast acrylic. Whats the warranty period?

Warren... What a piece of CR#P!! I'll take it off your hands and trade you my "top of the line coralife superskimmer" I'm using. That way you will not ruin that magnificent tank you have!

Heh heh Chuck,
I'll put you first in line!

magyk74,
According to Deltec, the modified eheims use 52 watts per pump although the eheims themselves state 80 watts on the pump.

Even so, my AP600 only ran one pump at 18 watts and now I'll have to contribute more to the Kessler fund

They are pretty nice, I've seen them on a few tanks I've visited.

I'm sure you will be happy with the performance.

I still like becketts though. :)

Beckett and needlewheel are not mutually exclusive - the Beckett is just one brand of venturi, the needlewheel is just the impeller fixture later on down the stream regardless of how the air is getting into the system...

what a piece of crap...it doesn't even have a beckett on it....I'll trade you a couple of old Seaclowns for it.....LOL.........seriously Warren beautiful piece.......good luck with it.

i think you will be pleased. i have an 851 and love it!!!! you won't believe the crap that comes out. no pun intended of course

Yes, it's an AP702.
Probably should have went for the 902 since it wasn't going under the stand anyway
It would have been only $106 dollars more but 15" taller :mad2:

schwing.

I have one coming soon too, unless I wimp out.

Hook it up yet? Curious what you think.

Remember we were talking about tweaking the airlines? I'm still playing with mine on the aquabees. I havent gotten in perfect yet. Making some gunk though. (finally)

Apparently on the Eheims, its important to pinch the air until it cuts out, and then lessen up just a touch.

Jeez. Pierce, you have more skimmers than fish.

I guess you haven't seen the pictures of my fish on the other board?
