Hello. I was thrilled to see a reef club in the Roanoke area and hope it is active and that I can start making new friends with a passion for the hobby. Been running a little 14 gallon bio-cube for a long time and some years ago I had a 120 G reef tank. But moved over seas for a while and had to shut it down.

Anyway. Do you all meet often? I'm hoping to build a reef tank again and to get even more inspired by some of the tanks here that sound really nice. I SO wish I had found this Forum a few days ago so I could have attended your last get together.

If anybody has time on their hands and likes to show off their tanks...I can supply a captive audience (me) and some liquid refreshments. I live in Salem, work at VT CRC, and can tell lots of lies, err stories, about SCUBA diving around the world.

Seriously, It's been a number of years since I kept a serious tank and I have to re-learn a lot. Need a hand doing 2 hours of work on a 300 G tank...let me know, I'd love to help.

Rich welcome back

just missed the meet, we do not have a very active club and only a few members. people come and go in the hobby and the members we have are spread out. I have to hold a meet about every 6 months just to do some serious trimming. No one else has done a meet for years but you are welcome to stop by some time and check out the tanks I can supply most people with corals depending on taste. I enjoy showing off the tanks but have to arrange the time

You are on.

You are on.

Jorge,

I'd love to see the tanks and I believe my wife would too if you don't mind. My work schedule makes it hard to plan anything except weekends...but if you don't mind a little company some Sat or Sun - we'd love to see the tanks and meet you.

My email is scubarich *at* gmail *dot* com
