hoping my sebae will survive

hey guize.

brand new to the hobby (picked up a 1yo 55g off craigslist, moved it to a 72g & will be adding a sump & more filtration). i bought a sebae for the tomato that i acquired with the tank.

long story short, i suffered a trate spike due to adding too many fish and one dying. the sebae was in the tank a week and a half before the tomato hosted, but took a turn for the worse after the spike. i did a 40% WC on Monday, he looked about the same yesterday, but this morning seemed to be doing much better.

i was THIS CLOSE to taking him out of the tank yesterday, as he was about 25% of his normal size, tentacles limp & not moving, and base not attached. the only reason i kept him in was because his base was firm and he had all his color. i moved him into a very high flow area of the tank... i think that may have made a difference.

anyway, just wanted to get some advice from those of you who've been around longer what else i could do if he takes another turn for the worse or if you think he's going to make it.

TIA
corley
