Horseshoe crab

My lfs just got in a couple of these last night. I know they get big around 9-12 inches in diameter but I can't really find much info on them. Every site I've looked at has the same description. Have any of you kept one and with what results

Waste of money and should be left in the ocean. They are destined to starve unless you have a huge tank with a lot of sand.
