Hi, I was wondering how easy horseshoe crabs were to take care of, I have a 60g reef tank, and most sites say there reef safe but I just wanted another oppinon
I believe they aren't great for most reef tanks due to the temps and amount of rock many keep. They eat worms and mollusks, need cooler water and large tanks.
They grow very large and need to eat lots, with polychaete worms in the sediment being their primary diet. Not something I would recommend for an aquarium.
