Household ammonia brand for cycle or Dr.Tims?

Has anyone used regular household ammonia with no additives for their fishless cycle?

I have a large amount of live rock purchased from fellow reefers all of which have been sitting in covered bins (with flow but no heat or light) for about 1.5 months. I did not add any food to the bins during this time.

The rocks have been in my main display tank for about a week now and I want to add a detectable amount of pure ammonia to the tank to monitor how quickly the ammonia is converted.

Any ammonia brand recommendations that I can buy from a local store or is it best to get ammonia specifically marketed for aquarium cycles? I don't want to add food as I don't want to wait for breakdown to occur and I have a suspicion that I may not even get a true cycle. At least with pure ammonia I can add the ammonia and hopefully get a positive reading within a few minutes.

Thanks!!

I just got the Dr Tims ammonium chloride from Amazon. It's not too expensive. Good deal for that one linked above though and sounds like they've used it. I love deals but I'd just be nervous to use it.

Ace hardware carries pure ammonia. Shoot me a PM if you want to swing by and get some for free from me in Garden Grove. It doesn't take much. To raise 100 gallons of water from 0 to 2 ppm ammonia you would need to add 0.8 grams (8 ml) of standard 10% pure ammonia.

I ended up purchasing fritz ammonium from Amazon, expecting it tomorrow. Thank you for the offer. I thought about going to your place just so I can check out your tank.
